  • I thought of you when I saw this Liam. Tis indeed very nice, loving those Tipo hubs.

  • haha nice one Tel, im sure i'll find one soon... ;)

  • Wow! Stunner.. Out of interest: how did you ID this one as an AA? Because I have a '74 Gazelle road, which has mudguard eyelets (suggesting lower spec, as in more of a tourer/amateur) and a lugged fork (higher spec, hmm.. contradiction).. Did they already have several types then or was A the only one offered?

    Cheers in advance!

  • Hi
think Gazelle started the AA in 1975-DUTCH CHEESE is the expert here
it's got 't mannetje' between rear fork
    a ROTO BB
    Zeus forkcrown
    no eyelets
the only thing which I'm not 100% sure off is the date
but according to the framenumber it is pre 1976

  • thanks for that link...love those old brochures.very helpful.

  • ^Cheers too.. It is definitely an A-frame, same fork crown (apparently your's is Zeus, sexy!), round "mannetje", no Roto BB.. I dated mine with help of fivenineclimber database, and guestimated it is '74.. Good luck with the sale!
