surely a belt works just as well on its own?It takes stress off the belt itself, and makes it more comfortable, but I know what you're saying. I used a Fabric Horse for a few days but I found it annoying having it on my belt while at work etc. so now just stick my Evo in my belt and my Fahg in my bahg. Cumbersome, useful bastards.

I'm interested in one of these, how does it attach to your belt? I haven't seen one before and can't make out how it's attached from the pictures?
-

it has loops either end the belt feeds through

You send him the measurement of your lock (the distance between the "U" shape). You loop it through your belt and drop the lock through the holster, the top bar will stop it going all the way through.
I'm not that great at explaining things, maybe the OP should do a drawing. Very simple and effective design though, best about this is the guy makes it bespoke for your size lock. The ones mostky for sale are for mini-ds which I never use because you can't lock very effectively with them.

what could be more efficient than mini-d through rear wheel, frame and sheffield stand?

Couldn't agree more. Fine work, OP.

Hi, thanks for your interest. As the other guys have mentioned the belt slides through loops as in pic. Just measure the width of the bars and I will make one for you. Either with pic or plain black. Thanks for the comments people.

I find mini-d too small sometimes. You have to have the right stand and the right distance from it to get frame and wheel through. My abus although bigger weighs the same and I can get everything rapped up nice and snug.

well yeah but most stands are about the same anyway. and your bike, too. the reward of the close clearance is that thieves won't even fit a long steel pipe or anything like that in there because everything is so tight together.

True, being tighter gives less room for manoeuvrability.

Thanks Shinigami and The devils falcon for the explanation and picture

you don't need to put it through the frame, you can just put it through the wheel as long as it's through the rear triangle
I guess you could start with my spelling as well! cheers.
