Coloured tires :
...are for supermodels only... why ?700X23 is a superskinny supermodel, why don't they come in sizes for the larger lady... say a 700X25 or god forbid a big boned 700X28 lassy ? What's with the 'every colour as long as it's black' for big breasted girls ?
I think Halo make some bigger 700c coloured tyres:

sigh
yep, cool 'n all,
but... pricey.
You can get two sets of the average 700X23 colour tires
for the price of a single one of these babies . -

I don't know, ask Halle Berry.

I love the fact you think 28c is massive.
it's skinny.

20c is skinny...
I think the answer is generally because buying a set of coloured road tyres for your fancy road bike is like buying a pair of killer heels for a sexy anorexic model. Bigger clompy boots tend to be in more 'practical' colours.
I ordered some pink and black skinny tyres this morning.

Or, you could try cutting the left sidewall off one and the right sidewall off another, then glue them together. 23 X 2 = 46 - 4 (for the sidewalls) = 42. Should be perfect.
Or get a front wheel like this guy has:

Hey folks.
I'm looking to get some yellow tyres for a bike i'm building up / converting into a fixie/ss. It's a present for someone so aesthetic is important, were it for me I'd just stick a pair of schwalbe's on it and be done but I want to get the look right, so does anyone know where I can get some all-yellow tyres? I found these on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-PAIR-700x23c-COLOURED-RACING-TYRES-FIXIE-/370487091505?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&var=&hash=item95038b577e#ht_500wt_922
... but i'm not sure about getting cheap tyres off ebay incase they're dodgy or worse dangerous in some way..
what's the consensus lads?
Ta,
Kips.

Why do I even know this shit?
-
• #41
Continental GP 4000's are mostly yellow but are hard-wearing for London's goat tracks. Hard to find all yellow tyres that are decent.
-
• #42
Do you mean proper yellow or all gum coloured tyres?
-
• #44
Gum coloured tyres look orthopedic.
And those Fixie Pops are shite. They don't like being put on rims. Don't even want to mention fitting them with inner tubes.

im after a tyre with horizontal stripes, I hear horizontal stripes are slimming and will hide my muffin top a little bit?
-
• #46
But you do know that tyres are round, right?
-
• #47

but not sweets, wheels
