Completely rebuilt 'stealth' 80's Rossin, 55cm x 55cm Columbus SLX, lots of nice detail including chrome head lugs, full chrome rear triangle, nice fork crown, pantos everywhere plus relief detail on seat stay caps. This would have been a top end frame in it's day and still rides beautifully, fast and comfortable. I sold it to friend a year and a half ago, they had it powder coated this semi-mat black (original paint was completely shot), very good job by Armourtex, they did all the chrome masking perfectly and after 2 winters it hasn't got a chip on it I can see. Treated with Framesaver before use. Now selling due to lack of space. Friend wanted to keep various components and it needed a service so it has effectively been completely rebuilt.
The groupset is 2009 Veloce with 172.5mm CT 50/34 cranks, new bearings and seals fitted.
UltraShift Ergos still crisp and slick shifting.
Rear mech and chain brand new, low mileage 12-25 cassette fitted.
Skeleton brakes with new brake blocks all round.
Record headset serviced.
NOS 3TTT bars.
Wheels are nearly new (<30mls) Campag Ventos, last of the large hub ones, de-stickered.
Michelin Pro2 race tyres low miles, or if preferred nearly new Gatorskins.
Saddle is a new Charge Knife, or a NOS classic Flite if preferred.
Seatpost is Campag Daytona.
In other words everything is new, nearly new or in excellent condition.
Apart from the tyre and saddle options there are better wheels available if preferred (at a cost!).
