Would be fun to use these wheels to build a coaster- outdoor track bike like the ones in "breaking away".

Bump.
These are still available due to my incompetence. Sorry EEI, sent PM to explain

Fair enough.
You'd want Sturmley Archer then. There's one on the US eBay.

• #9
would you be prepared to let just the back one go?

Sorry, but no point really - matching rims good for the winter hack. I'd prefer to put them away till next year than split the wheelset.

I'm sorry Scrapper, but I needed to pay for a new wheel today.
For sale my winter wheelset built by our very own Tommy the Brick. I don't have a frame which would accommodate tyres bigger than 23mm at the moment.
Mavic A119 touring rims - for tyres bigger than 28mm (although I run 25mm on them without problem - depends on tyres really).
Front hub is Campagnolo Veloce - 32 holes.
Rear hub is a **coaster **brake Venturer from BikeFix - 36 holes for fatties.
Rear hub could do with service - not because it's borken or worn out, but because it supposed to be done and I've never had time to do so.
These wheels were used sparingly. Most of the time without a front brake and the rear brake was never applied.
Some sort of spokes. Not sure what make.
