Perhaps over-priced... they're going for around £280 on eBay and anything over £300 is ending unsold.
This one here (ending in 2 hours) is £265:

not just perhaps, very overpriced.
they're now 329gbp NEW in anticipation of the iPad's release on the 25th.
there's no way I'd pay more than 220 for this at this point, and i don't think you'll find anyone else who will.

i'm open for reasonable offers.
i'm not interested in opinions about the price, i'm more interested in PM with an offer and that would be much appreciated.and if you have a chance to buy it for £220 blind dan please do.
cheers

Where can I buy an iPad for £220? I'd get two for my kids. The last time I looked, it was only some shitty Android tablet in PC World for £268.
-
• #6
my point was that i should start off with a higher price in order to get it down through negotiation.
like i said before. open for offers.

this is a bit of a joke.
a friend of mine just sold his 6 month old 16gb wifi ipad with a leather case for £260.
£300 is over priced, and if you aren't interested in hearing opinions then don't over price it, the forum doesn't appreciate people trying to charge buyers over the odds.
-
• #12
but the forum appreciate people which have no intention of buying just telling off for pricing the item they not even interested in?
mate, everyone talks but so far i just hear that frien sold one or something about buying one for 220....
i made myself clear beforewhatever this one will sell for i'm happy to accept the same money. if it will be below £300 i will sell it without the case
if you would be interested instead just bored on sunday afternoon it will be easier. reality is people are just opinionated.
i need some action. if someone will be actually negotiating the price i might go lower but so far is just pointless comments.if you know where to get them really cheap maybe you should share it here http://www.lfgss.com/thread6-629.html

Yes, it does.
Because the classifieds are provided by way of having a place where mates sell stuff to mates. And mates don't overcharge each other, and do appreciate it being pointed out when it happens.

...i'm open for reasonable offers.
... PM with an offer and that would be much appreciated.and also I have already pointed out that i'm willing to accept £275 ....
now that's all i wanted to say ;]

why don't you just put it on ebay then?!
-
• #16
bad timing, i sold my ipad about 4 weeks back and got a clean £395 for it!
planned obsolescence is painful!

I'm about to give it to my toddler. Obsolete piece of crap I used for 6 months only. The new one will be shinier.

has everyone glazed over the pricedrop in the last 24hours?!?!
A NEW ONE OF THESE IS CHEAPER THAN WHAT HE'S FLOGGING IT FOR - despite that he has some paltry case (which is a preference item anyways, just like people would get called out for on bikes) - i don't see how anyone would be silly enough to waste money on a used deprecated item.
if you think this forum doesn't appreciate "people which have no intention of buying just telling off for pricing the item they not even interested in" - then you should go outside and smash your fucking face in with a tack hammer, you early-adopting technomuppet.
BOO THIS MAN.

also it has no camera and the extra 80quid you'll be paying for an iPad 2 come march 25th is worth the cost of both cameras let alone the double in RAM/CPU cores.... ugh.
-
• #21
You are right, apart from one thing...
Extra £80? On top of what?Maybe not everyone wants to be early-adopting technomuppet and don't need the newest gadget?
-
• #22
extra 80 on his sale price mate.
the iPad 16gb wifi model is MSRP 420gbp inc-VAT.
-
• #23
24 posts, 0 friends, 1 overpriced ipad...
-
• #24
also, anyone who isn't an earlyadopting technomuppet can still tell that ANY FUCKING TABLET should have a camera in it - and shouldn't be nearly the size of the iPad 1. foolishness, but the pricing model runs true with the 1G, so why not take the doubling of processing specs, and addition of 2 cameras for the exact same cunting price as the first one was. insanity.
sometimes, i hate being an engineer - namingly now - when the glaring stupidity of these ongoing discussions and people starts me into an aneurysm.
