How about a seriously new approach to repairs? Repair while u wait or not at all? Charge by the minute so that it's cheap to do quick stuff? Have a special DIY workshop zone, with basic tools and a stand available?

I've always had Bicycle Magic as my favorite bike shop, when it comes to treatment. Never had a problem there and everyone's super friendly.
