I can't make the ride this week either.

Sticking my nose in this thread is like reading the polo thread from a year ago... You should be duty bound to get 6 people on each ride, so you can feel my pain.

This is just a few mates going on a ride now and then to go eat, we nearly didn't make a thread opening it up to others (as far as I remember), but I did because it's something else for bored cyclists to do in this town and I think B'ham needs things to do on bikes.
Polo is a sport that requires participation by a minimum number, otherwise it's not only less fun but harder to make progress.
I know what you mean about polo a year ago, some of your posts were comedy gold back then, but we're not really in the same boat, this is just social, doesn't matter if me and 'shredder or anyone doesn't show up, there's no team to let down.

Anyway, weren't you coming on one soon? I'd recommend next week as it'll probably be Singh's, but I'll be there so that might be a dealbreaker, might be there this week too, don't know yet.

Might be able to meet it to Urban coffee tomorrow evening, I have to go and play football at about 8.30. If we could meet at 6 and eat at 7 it may be doable.

...plus I didn't even ask anymore if I can take my bike in rather than lock it outside, guess Urban's pretty cool.
