  • Sorry I did the route marking, we put three arrows there and at the left @ TJ before it yesterday morning, last night they were gone so we replaced them again, this morning when I route checked it they were gone again so replaced them again, I know the broom wagon had to replace them again mid morning, Tonight when I took them down there was only one left there.
Unfortunately somebody up there does not like our ride.

You could always read & check it against the route sheet ;)

i do commend the effort all the marshals put in, apart from that blip which is now apparant to be someone else's doing, the route marking was excellent, so thanks

  • There are pics up, I'm not posting any as I look like shit in most of them!

^the most incriminating one I can find.
    (apologies)
(but it does show you beating martin up the hill, so not all bad)

@fwn: I thought the signage was fantastic, and it's the first sportive I've done where the marshalls wave you through clear junctions to keep things flowing, which, although a simple thing, was hugely appreciated. thanks to you and everyone else that put it together.

  • They weren't too militant on start times last year, just fed people through as they arrived. I bagged a super early start when I got home from the pub last night, which may not have been the best idea. Ho hum.
