Errr.. depends what your common or garden look likes..
they fit on standard cantilever brake mounts ie will fit>>>

but will not fit standard road forks..

Probably not for you..

No, road frames take a (centrally mounted) Caliper brake as a general rule. Some touring bike can fit cantilever brakes.
