  • I had a Specialized BG fit done at Steel's in Gosforth (near Newcastle) a week or so ago.

I'd highly recommend them. Took about 2.5 hours in total, lots of discussion, measuring, tweaking for bike and setting up the cleats on a new pair of shoes. Got it dialled in as close as we could and I left with a few sheets with the details down so that I could set up my other bikes to match. I'll now spend the next week or two seeing how I get on and he wants me to go back for refinements and we keep at it until it's perfect, or as close as possible.

It turns out that I'm super flexible and have no issues with injuries that need to be catered for so the fit was all about getting the most power down. I went out the next day and it was like I'd had a new pair of legs fitted!

At £120 I think it's probably the cheapest option too. Definitely worth it imo. They had the option of footbeds or cleat shims, but luckily I didn't need either.
