Wanted: Small old road bike or conversion

Hey all, My mate has been trying to find a single speed for a while to get him around town. He actually bought one on here a few weeks ago but it was too big when it arrived. So we've been looking everywhere for something else but without any luck.

Ideally we're after a small (50-52) old road bike that we can convert or one that's already been done. Probably not a frame as i'd need to source everything else and build it for him and i just don't have the time but if it's partially compleate i'd consider it.

He's in glasgow so, if by miricle, you are too it would be great, other wise it would need posting, or if it's exactly what we're after i might collect it in london and post it to him.

Anyone got anything interesting? budget up to a bit over 200 i think but it will be used and lock up in town so nothing too bling - not that i expect it for that price...

I've a giant frame, shimano mixed components- bb, cranks, ultegra rear, oversized bars with sti's, forks, ambrosio stem etc.

hey, sounds a bit new - i assume it has vertical dropouts so wouldn't be convertable?
