I've been poking about to get a lighter set of forks for a road frame with disc brake wheels- the current forks are steel and enormously heavy.
Does anyone have or know of anyone with such a thing please?
1" forks, steerer 20cm + with disc mounts
I would take a suspension fork if it had an 1" steerer at a push.
I'm currently thinking of having disc mounts added to an alu bladed set of forks, as so far its been mission impossible. I have a mate who can do miracles such as this, but I've not approached him on this idea yet- the worry is the mounts need to be exactly placed, and by hand it may not end up that way.......
Cheers
