To be honest I've stopped going easy on newer players, as everyone's been playing long enough now and N3il is pretty competent already. It's probably counter-productive for the better players to give the weaker players an easy ride. However, I do try to bring newer players into the game when they're on my side - dishing out directions/advice, trying to pass it off to them, playing defensive and looking to set them up with the ball.
@ Jono, you're aware this is not about tournament seeding, right? It's how we choose team line-ups in Birmingham.
