There are two strands here
1) Birmingham Polo
2) Tournament Polo
Birmingham polo, in my eyes, is very democratic and encourages/accommodates new players. This means that as a group, we are quite cohesive.
However in birmingham we very very rarely practice as teams which has significantly impeded our tournament progression it a couple of ways. No cohesion in team play and the top players often end up all focusing on attack.
Maybe we should try splitting the days wed throw in/free for all, sunday team play?
Seeding before major tournaments?
