Today I bought some risers and new grips for my bike, and removed the rear brake. Just need a break lever and cable now, anyone got an old lever lying around?

Not as good as Fallout 3 GOTY though

Today I have breaks again

Brakes?
-
• #165
Brakes always break!
-
• #166
A brake! No foot retention at the moment, waiting for the Restraps to be back in stock so a brake was quite essential

Buy some Hold Fast! Ze best quality and not cheAp recycled rip offs of a similar cross mtb strap!
-
• #168
Hmm, can they be put on smaller flats though? All pics I've seen they seem to be on bmx/mtb pedals. They're pretty pricey for me at the moment, bit strapped for cash
-
• #169
Cool. Not really sure. Just heard they are the best of the best.

Sheared the bolt on the "integrated seat clamp" because however tight I do it, the saddle sinks into the frame. Might need technical help…
-
• #172
dunno if they're any good ^ ^ ^
Today I ordered some restraps http://prollyisnotprobably.com/2010/02/restrap_foot_retention.php Verdict when I receive them
-
• #173
It's not loose enough for a shim, the fit is fine but the clamp just isn't holding it tight enough. Have done it as tight as I could, at the expense of shearing. If it doesn't hold will have to try and remove the bolt completely and put a different sort in. Maybe.
-
• #174
Did you grease the bolt first?
-
• #175
Probably not. Definitely not. Was guaranteed to forget something.
Curses. Don't want to try and take it out to grease it now either, in case I can't get it done back up.
lol no, Although that would've been equally as good.
