The seeding works Dan, on many levels, but for it to work in a competitive strength we need to practise as probable teams. The newbies vs the Danski, fin & Andy can only imrpvoe our game, especially if you nanny us in the same way you lay off complete noobs so you dont scare them to death.
Simple votes: Keep Seeding if it's done more frequently so it actually reflects ability. In order for Seeding to work at tourny's we need to change the way we practise.
Bin seeding if no one can be arsed to sort it on a bi monthly regularity in favour of forming a few teams which work together like well oiled machines.
By changing the way we practise what I actually mean is more technique and 'skill' practises, like the mini games, 2 v 2s etc, not just the 3 vs 3 where we rarely get to work as the same team more than once and also with rapidly improving people each week people are different to play against.
I'm about to bow out of Wednesday practises with 4 puppies to train up and the two adults to get back into their training routine. So i'll be Sunday only for a while...possibly going to abscond to Cambridge for a bit, atleast whilst they have their court and we have problems with ours.
I typed this whilst VERY tired, so i can bet it's full of errors and probably doesnt say what I wanted it to... i'll try again in the week when better slept.
