Bump! C'mon feel the Gios!

Consider splitting? How much for the f & f? What's the top tube size?
-
• #4
i'd be interested in the f+f if there was a split too...

Asking price is at least 50% too high for a no-brand tubeset, and for gods' sake get rid of the shock post if you want it to be taken seriously.

Is it a genuine Gorgeous Baby Blue®
-
• #7
Not even close, it's Gios blue, same colour as my LoPro
-

Well if it was Gorgeous Baby Blue® then the asking price would be fair enough. Normal Gios blue is so mainstream.

Wonderfully tolerant and constructive comment.....sometimes one just becomes weary of the besserwisser verbiage.

Shimano seems so wrong on this frame

it's cheap..compare to the bay...
Different tubeset, innit? Our one is generic CrMo with a cheap unicrown fork, the on t'bay is Dedacciai with a lugged fork.
F&F is ripe for conversion with those sliding dropouts though, would make a nice SS road bike.

Thanks all for the comments.
I would consider splitting it if anyone would take the rest of the parts.

Quick random question - how did you convert from downtube shifters to lever shifters? It looks like you replaced the old shifters with a new part..

Cable stops/adjusters bolted onto the down tube lever bosses. The first generation of STI levers came with this part, since frames were still built with lever bosses not cable stops.

Thanks your time yesterday. It's a great bike though but it's abit too big for me... im afraid i have to let others to snap it. Good luck with the sale.

I rather sell it as a complete bike
