  • Nintendo? Sony?

The statement would apply to the first one, but you know what these recruitment bods are like.

  • dead space 2 is proper fun. I think I'm getting near the end already.
If anyone wants it for ps3, I'll sell it for £15.

  • Picked up FNV after a break last night, going to try and bring her home by the weekend. Finally made friends with the Rangers, they no longer shoot on sight (not that I couldn't wipe them out with a single grenade machinegun clip, I just don't want to get a bad rep with the NCR).

The waste is on the verge of peace again, when I can sell all my weapons and armour, retire to my shack in the desert, live off my wealth and take pot-shots at the odd critter.

  • Just picked up FNV for a tenner, let see how it is.

    Farcry 2 was... interesting.

  • by interesting do you mean shit?
    also F:NV is awesome.
really need to get involved again

  • just pre ordered my copy of BF:3 I hope dice don't dick me over like they did was BF:1943

  • been playing uncharted 2, its really quite good, again not enjoying the whole monster thing towards the end, feels like a bit of a maguffin, and tacked on, and the design team basically giving you the same again but different. I duly expect them to import some aliens into uncharted 3, ala indiana jones and the crystal skull..

But it has been very enjoyable, blowing shit up, shooting people in the head, climbing shit, the puzzle element could be really beefed up, but apart from that and the creatures I have no real complaints.. Once I get through it, which I'm doing rather quickly, I'll jump onto arkham asylum.

does anyone know when the latest splinter cell is coming to the ps3?

  • by interesting do you mean shit?

I like the open air environment, the vast size of it that doesn't required any loading, etc.

what I don't quite like is how the mission is put together, which appear to be quite slapdash at best, just drop in to kill a gun runner to stop people from fighting each other, etc.

I like the concept, just not keen on the story, oh yes the lack of HDR put me off.

    The original Farcry was better.

  • Tried to order a digital download of starcraft 2 assuming it would be cheaper as there's no tangible product and that I could play it quicker. Logged into the vendor, battle.net or something like that, went through a laborious registration process, where it didn't once mention the price until eventually after validation emails a plenty I was offered the opportunity to pay 44 quid for a download version.

    Pass

    PC?
I'm holding out till a steam pre-order but meh bleh it aint do or die.
And how did EA dick you over?

  • no C&C games? no Monkey Island?

Never "got" monkey Island ... but C&C Red Alert 2 is a solid game ... allies are too strong though.

    eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • I am excite

And how did EA dick you over?

Yeah pc, I got it for £29.79 from http://www.g2play.net/ loads of cheap games on there. The reason I'm pre-ordering now is because its the deluxe edition with an expansion pack, not sure if it'll be available on steam.
The dicked me and a lot other people over by letting people pre-order 1943 for PC the cancelling it

We know some of you eagerly have been awaiting Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught on PC. I’m sad to say that these two titles are now officially cancelled.

  • just got the demo for C&C 3 on a whim, fucking awful, like they remade it for kids. Only one redeeming feature, George Takei and Time Curry are in the cut scenes

Not wanting to spoil anything, but that all gets wrapped into the story pretty well. It's one of the best games I've played, it just flowed so, so well.

  • Dilemma of the day, do I buy kz3 today?

  • fourteen, I'm just not a fan of the monsters thing, I didn't like it in the first one, it was one of the weaknesses of that game for me and that they decided to bring it back for the second just disappoints me.
Don't get me wrong I am enjoying the game, just really don't think that story decision does anything for the game, and it does flow well and it is apart of the storyline, I'm just not that into that part of the story..

  • anyone got marvel vs capcom 3?

  • Cornelius, Fair doos. There are always going to be bits and pieces that people do or don't like in a game.

I just hated how hard they were to kill / survive.

All the C&C games are on special on Steam at the moment, not really had one since Red Alert 2 that I really got into though :/

  • ahh transport tycoon deluxe is available for free! some guys have been developing it as open source ! there goes my week
