  • Trackstar is WAY overpriced

the man speaks the truth. although its worth a look

  • Kig Kog is kinda only worth goin if your in brooklyn i think as its miniscule and had bugger all stock when i was there. Trackstar is cool, loads of stock and some cool colourful/ shiny stuff. Didnt find it too expensive with what i got from there, (buttload cheaper than here anyway) be sure to check the huge Mike Giant mural on the side of the building.

  • be sure to check the huge Mike Giant mural on the side of the building.

    'tis indeed ace!

  • Went to King Kog today. Some nice bits and ace girls working there.

Apart from the nice bits, Pake frames were $275. shipping to L-town estimated as being in the vicinity of 100 bucks. Happy to do something to assist with import duty.

    on the agenda tomorrow are:

    Trackstar
Chari & co - been recommended
    trackstar
    Reed space

I came to Brooklyn in search of black kids to run through broken fire hydrants with but all I've found are fucken hipsters. I'm wearing pantaloons so fit in well.

Off to Harlem in search of crack.

  • Oh and apparently Bikeworks is worth a look as an old school NY bike shop. I

  • balki hit up Continum on Ave B and Afinity on Grand st in BK. also ride this route at around 2am: Waterfront park in Greenpoint, south on Kent ave, right on Flushing Ave, left on Gold St, right on Tillary St, right on Adams St/ The Brooklyn Bridge (take the bike path), right on Park Row, left on Chambers st, Right on the West Side Hwy bike path, right on 57th st, Left on 6th ave/ Ave of the americas, 2.5 laps of Central Park, Exit the park West 110th st, right on West 110th st, right on meuseam mile/ 5th ave, south on 5th ave untill you below houston then hit one of the dinners for breakfast.

  • I fucking love New York... Great little bar on the Lower East Side you should check out called Tom & Jerry's... Corner of Elizabeth & E. Houston... Have a great time, Tony... :)

  • is bikeworks on the lower east side under the bridge?

  • is bikeworks on the lower east side under the bridge?

I think that's the place, it's not quite under the bridge but you do go under an overpass at Delancey. It's where Aram got his first bike resprayed. They don't have a lot, are mostly an order-and-get-it-fixed place. But they're super cool if you've had an issue and need to ask questions.

Then there's Larry and Jeff's, the bike shop on 79th & 3rd that my friend Sam runs. It's much more of a Trek and Cannondale type shop but all the guys who work there are awesome, some of them play polo, etc. Plus, it's a fun ride up the east side bike path until 63rd St. then go over to 2nd Ave.

NYCVelo is on 2nd Ave at 4th St. but they're attitude-laden and sell expensive shit. Still, there's an awesome photo of a mud-covered rider on a Cinelli.

Bicycle Habitat in the LES on Lafayette. Prince St? Maybe.

Ugghhhh...the place on the west side that does measuring, etc. is just chock full of expensive racing type stuff. Can't remember the name of it, sorry.

    Right, here's a list:
