I think it was OK Clive, because you are too senior to be a creepy stalker and in too well a circumstance to be considered a dirty old man. (I can't imagine Steptoe ever being able to afford a Glider).
I am often taken with the desire to comment positively on people's riding when it is deserving, but rarely get the opportunity as I am usually imprisoned within the confines of the motor vehicle. In particular I once saw some excellent riding by a young woman, not only was she very beautiful but she managed to ride a racing bike with incredible alacrity through the traffic chaos on the North End road whilst wearing a long red dress and high heels. Sadly I was stranded in the traffic and was unable to catch her before the Police caught up and delayed me further with impertinent questions.
