Evening all.
Any interest in an Italian road frame badged up by Hardisty's (formerly) of Newcastle?
It's made by Saba, as the seat stays & fork crown attest. Late 70's/early 80's I'd guess.st 53.5 ctc / 55 ctt
tt 55 ctcColumbus tubing, no clue what type other than it needing a 26.8 seatpost. Nice lugs including a full set of playing card motifs on the inside of the forks.
Campag drop-outs.
Italian threading.Includes a smooth Shimano bb (haven't removed it, so no idea what type) & Tange Seiki headset.
The paint has been touched up in a few places, there's a smattering of chips & dings and it's flaking slightly around the bottom bracket. Nothing structural though.

Hello Chaps.
I have a Dawes Response road bike for sale. Bought it before christmas with the intention of spending a bit of money on and then using but time has put a stop to my plan. Uni has taken over my life and if I do get a chance to get out on a bike I'll always want to take the Ward so this needs to go.After measuring the seat post it appeared to come out as a 53cm c-t but it actually feels a similar size to my Ward which is a 48/49cm so i'm guessing thats down to bb heights etc. Regardless it will suit those shorter in stature.
The bike has Shimano Exage groupset with downtube shifters. The headset could do with a bit of a tinker as its a bit stiff. I bought some ritchey bar tape to go on it which I didn't get round to putting on. I also replaced the brake cables but didn't have cable ends or decent cable cutters so they've been left to cut to size. The only other thing to note is the rear wheel which has a campag rim logo. I'm presuming that this was an upgrade at some point in its life.
Anyhoo, I'll offer it to locals first and then pass it over to the main forum if theres no interest.
Price: £100

I have a friend who is selling a tall person's Dave Yates roadbike.. Full reynolds tubing, Some bits of dura-ace or Ultrgra transmission, down tube shifters. Think its about a 61 so you'd need to be 6foot plus i'd guess. If anyone wants me to get more info and pics I can.

to do what?
Build a webshite. Also just something I want to learn and as with all these things, I've always found that once you've been shown the basics by someone, it becomes relatively easy but the initial steps take forever if you're just reading shite tutorials online.

Only know the basics myself but if its a fairly straight forward site i can show you how to setup home page/about/contact pages etc and how to link. if you have thought of a layout as well could show you how to slice it up in photoshop and import to dreamweaver, might get you started
