  • ^Great ride by Jess, remember getting beaten by her in a sprint at HH as an U16 while a 12 year old shouted "save your pride" at me.

    No one deserves booing.

Unless she's purposely staying in and forcing other riders out the back it's barely an issue. As for basic awareness, like most riders she'll be concentrating on the racing and other riders. Staring at your bars = fail. Just because you find the IP boring doesn't mean others do. You can always go and watch football. The world record was broken in IP qualifying...

Sort of agree with the above sometimes hard to hear your number been called out when your eliminated and you dont think your last man, don't think you could miss a red light on your tops thogh

Responsibility for knowing that you are out has to at some point come down to the riders. Taking a quick glance at your bars is just as safe as looking at the front of the bunch to see who is still in, or looking over your shoulder to see who's behind you, and if the consequence of not coming out is being relegated to last, glancing at your bars is probably more important. That said you are right that no-one deserves booing.

"IP is pretty boring as a whole** in my opinion**. One or two of the heats and the finals are probably worth watching"
I never claimed others didn't find it interesting and i acknowledged that some heats are good! Bobridge's ride was epic!!

I generally agree with Rob's analysis of the omnium.
