  • Grindy = lower cadence = heavy load on the knees. With fluid trainers, resistance increases with speed, so a geared bike is the best option. Then you can adjust cadence for any given speed.

    See if you can find an old carpet tile to cut up , or a few of them; then add an extra layer at every point where the turbo + block touch the mat.
