Rainbow is too dingy and depressing these days. I reckon hare and hounds is perfect, big ol room upstairs. Cheap/free/easy to hire. Not too rammed with everday clientelle to have room for people who want to come specifically for the rolla.

You could probably just turn the stage spotlights on.
I think the h+h is good though not central and not as easy to unload equipment.
I don't think it's free but im sure we could persuade adam. It would be good if we could do it downstairs in the back room (unikely) so that regulars/ people besides us could have a go too, good way to get people involved.
The upstairs of the island bar could be free or very cheap though, again, not ideal.
I'll have an ask around this week.
