..so I have been one of the sort of stock DJs for Rollapaluza over the last few years and as you may or may not know the National Series has seen us visit Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Southampton, Plymouth and more since 2009. We are aware that Birmingham hasn't seen the Rollapaluza crew at any point and that there are people from the Midlands very keen to take part. We would like to put a National Series heat on in Birmingham in the next 4-6 weeks.
I haven't lived in Birmingham for many years now so even though I've got a couple of ideas my knowledge of ideal venues is probably a little bit outdated.. so this is just a quick message to ask you if you have any recommendations for a suitable place. We would need it to be central, easy to find, easy to get transport to and easy to load/unload equipment to/from. Typically we've done well at bars with a stage area and a good floor for the crowd, and we would be holding it most likely on a Wednesday or Thursday evening. We would be taking the door.
Any recommendations over the next couple of days would be great so we can get the ball rolling.
