ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

FREDDIE GRUBB TRACK FRAME c1955
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 110mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 57mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
The is a very nice Freddie Grubb track frame from the middle 1950s – the rear brake bridge is undrilled and there are no mudguard eyes on the dropouts. It has been refinished in a very attractive deep shade of red – this has some marks but nothing too big.** SOLD**
CHAS ROBERTS ROAD FRAME 1985 Reynolds 531 Pro
Seat Tube (ctt): 21.25in (54cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21in (53cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 48mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 Pro
This is a really cool Chas Roberts road frame built from Reynolds 531 Pro tubing (the lighter version of 531). It has a small dent to the down tube, hence the very reasonable price. The paint is generally very good except for a few areas where it is flaking, these could easily be rubbed down and retouched. It has vertical dropouts so is not suitable as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £145
RON COOPER ROAD FRAME c1980
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.25in (54cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: sprints/700C with a brake drop of 48mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Ron Cooper is one of the giants of British framebuilding ranking alongside Chas Roberts, Bill Hurlow, George Longstaff, Dave Yates and Stan Pike. This really lovely frame from around 1980 is beautifully detailed and built. Just take a look at the clean lug shorelines which are impeccably brazed... The frame is very sound with no dents or dings I could find but could do with a quality repaint - the price allows for that. It could easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. ** SOLD subject to payment**
AENDE LOPRO FRAME Reynolds 531 Pro
Seat Tube (ctt): 19.5in (50cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21in (53cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 Pro
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Aende lo-pro frame dates from c1986 is in very good/excellent condition and is built from Reynolds 531 Pro tubing - this. is the lighter version of 531 tubing that was developed into 653 later. The paint is in very good condition albeit with quite a number of small marks. I will include the 650 sprint wheel with the frame. The frame is beautifully fillet brazed with lots of lovely details - the internal rear brake cable and the drilled dropouts are very well executed. ** SOLD**
TED GERRARD ROAD FRAME c1960 Nervex Pro Hand cut fork crown
Seat Tube (ctt): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 62mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Ted Gerrard’s shop was in Woodhouse road, Finchley – the premises were taken over by Shorters whose shop is still there. This frame is really rather nice built with Nervex Pro lugs and Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. And it has a most attractive hand-cut fancy fork crown... The paint is in very useable condition. The long Campag dropouts make it ideal as a fixed or singlespeed conversion. ** SOLD**
PRESTIGE ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 50mm
Seatpost size: 25.8mm
This frame I thinkm was built in Belgium and has forged dropouts - but it is not a top quality frame by any means. It will make an ideal beater or budget conversion. The long horizontal dropouts will make it ideal for conversion to singlespeed or fixed. ** SOLD**
RALEIGH TEAM BANANA ROAD FRAME 1987 Reynolds 531C
Seat Tube (ctt): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Raleigh Team Banana road frame from 1987 has recently been repainted inTeam Banana colours – inexplicably it has had 1983 applied to the top tube. It has not been used since and is immaculate. It could easily be used as a fixed or singlespeed conversion. £185
FIOR ROAD FRAME c1982 Columbus tubing
Seat Tube (ctc): 61cm (24in)
Top Tube (ctc): 59cm (23.25in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 45mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Columbus SP/SL
This is a really rather nice Italian road frame – it has the same logo on the forks as the unused Italian road frames I have for sale. I suspect these were built for Italian shops to apply their own decals to – it was suggested that they were built by the same builder as the one building Guerciotti frames. Whatever the build quality is very good. This frame is chromed all over and the paint is transparent giving it a special sparkle. The paint is not perfect - there are quite a number of marks but its still a very attractive frame... It would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £125
STRUDWICK ROAD FRAME c1948
Seat Tube (ctt): 21.5in (59cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 58mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
Strudwick’s shop was in Oxford Street, Brighton and was there in the 1970s when I was a student in Brighton. This frame has its original decals albeit in quite a faded condition. It however has a very attractive patina... £75
