Proper leather shoes

I adore those matte brogue boots, GA2G. Gorgeous!

Those matte ones are lovely, but how do you polish them? Won't they end up as shiny eventually?

I'd probably just suede brush them and let them age naturally.
I don't reckon they'd last as long as a polished boot, but they'd go out in style!

I thought I'd look up the best answer, as I wasn't even 100% sure myself. Now I've learned how, I'll share it.
