• I totally agree with this. I didn't know what was irritating me about current Menes but you're totally right. Mass produced bullshit most of it relying on some of that bullshit to
    Stick to the wall.

    memegenerator.net?

    really?

the whole thing is bit too knowing, pre-planned, and production line these days isn't it? surely the whole point of a meme, or at least part of the original silliness and charm of the earlier ones was that they weren't created to be memes? it's like saying "hey let's create a quirky underground viral that becomes an internet phenomenon". you just can't fake that. and most of this shit that's doing the rounds lately is exactly that. a few good ones sneak though in whatever format is flavour of the month but to be honest they're pretty fucking scarce amongst the billions of lame-arsed amateur hour "have you ever noticed?" comedy dressed up as edgy by being written into a badly drawn three panel cartoon.

i just lol'd myself silly at the baby destroying the las palmas bar. does this make me old? cos i think it makes it makes me cutting fucking edge. and as the new voice of dissent i call bullshit on "ffffffuuuuu...." "forever alone", "why you no?", "batchellor frog", "trollface", etc etc etc. the vast majority is shit sub-peter kay pedestrian observational shit masquerading as new and underground because it's on the internet, calls itself a meme (memegenerator.net! fuck off!) and occasionally references porn, drugs and school.

    basically, i am dissapoint.

    ^irony.
