• As I got rid of my TT rig, I need to make my Lo-Pro faster for this year... So these bits are being replaced with more aero bits:

Non-machined, black Velocity Deep-V, radially laced to a black Planet-X pista front hub (100mm)with 32 double-butted, black spokes.
£60 or £75 with continental tyre and tube

    OR

Pair of non-machined, black Velocity Deep -V rims, rear 3 cross, front radial, each with 32 black double-butted spokes to black Planet-X pista hubs(100mm/120mm). Including 15 tooth track sprocket and Gusset lockring.
£140 or £160 with continental tyres and tubes

The wheels are in very good condition, bar a tiny scratch on the front rim where someone leant a pedal against it on the train. They were only built up a few hundred miles ago, and are well looked after. The sealed bearings are silky-smooth, and they will be trued before the sale (spokes are nicely bedded in now too, so they should stay true for a good while). I'm an experienced, ex-professional bike mechanic and wheel-builder, so you know they'll be sweet! before anyone asks: I don't want to sell the rear on it's own, as it would be a useful wheel for rollers or training, and I have spare fronts floating about already. Neither wheel has been braked on.

Poyner, handmade, lugged track forks with nice tyre clearance (700x25c is the absolute limit), and proper, tight track geo. They have been drilled to accept a brake by the precious owner. Nice red paint work, with black fork-ends. The steerer is 4 3/4" long, so they would suit a Lo-Pro with a 700c front wheel, or a small track bike.
    £35

Identiti T-4, 27.2mm dia, 350mm long, inline seatpost, in Black. A few insertion marks upto about an inch above the min-insertion line, so you won't see them once it's in the frame, unless you have it at full extension (and it's very long, so you probably won't!)
    £12

All the parts are on this bike

All prices include postage from Suffolk. Additional fees will apply if you want anything shipped abroad.

  • make the steerer longer on those forks, i really want them!!

  • You can have a new steerer brazed in for not-too-much-money by any frame builder. Argos do it pretty reasonably, iirc.

  • ye i know, and i would probably be tempted to do that... if i didn't live in dublin with no local frame builders

  • £130 posted for the wheels, if anyone wants them?

  • Any pics of the fork?

  • Yes. In the first post.

  • ahhh... Getcha

  • Maybe this might show the forks better:

  • bit off topic, but which bars are those? And how did you find it getting them into the stem?

  • Cinelli tempo pursuit. Went into the stem with no resistance whatsoever, as it's designed with cut-away, curved sections to allow the curve of the bar in. You can just about see the cut-aways at the bottom of the stem in the above picture.

  • £130 for the wheels, or trade the complete wheelset for a front spinergy rev-x front?

edit: spinergy sorted, not interested in trade any more.

  • provisional dibs on wheels, will pm tomorrow if thats ok

  • Sure. That's fine. First dibs go to xanderh.

  • 2nd dibs on wheels pm if sale falls through
    regards

  • u sellin' the forks ;-(

    thats a shame. nice bike

  • Real shame they are drilled as I think they have the perfect amount of rake for my needs..

    Theys 1" ?
    What steel?

  • pm wheels

  • undibs wheels, have a bump!

  • These still available?

  • I'll take the wheels 100% if any of the above dibs have fallen through.

  • Wheels are available again, as buyer backed out. £130 or £150 with lightly used continental tyres and tubes.

Seatpost is still available too (a bargain at £12!)

I've decided that I'm going to keep the forks with the frame now though. It would be silly to separate them.
