Stainless steel bikes!

Now I've seen it all. They'll be making them out of epoxy and carbon fibers next. Those crazy cycle scientists.

One important factor when building a bicyle is strength to weight. Stainless does really well here. Its pretty good at stiffness to weight too. I doubt these 'to weight' ratings would fair so well against carbon tubing though.

Still a fantastic material to build a frame out of, in the right hands.
