Justdrove past balls pond road. It's shut for a serious accident according to traffic websites. Anyone know what happening? There are a lot of police there

A104 London - A104 Ball's Pond Road in Cannonbury closed in both directions between the B102 Southgate Road junction and the A1199 St Paul's Road junction, because of a serious accident. Diversion in operation - affecting bus routes 30, 38, 56 and 277. Police directing traffic.

A friend of mine just passed there, and said that someone (a pedestrian by his account) has just been hit by a passing car. It sounded bad.
