seriously though, elaborate please. i do loake's/trickers and raw denim most days of the week. interested to hear the details of someone's anti stance as most express approval.

I'm not actually anti, I think it looks good, but personally I don't do it because it's just such a mid 30s Stoke Newingtonian cliche. As someone said above, with the Barbour jacket it's truly on the point of self-parody. Also, the other reason it doesn't work for me is that I'm heavily tattooed - I'm not going to be convincing anyone I'm a Chelsea land-owner anytime soon.

But it doesn't look bad, and if I was going to wear brogues with jeans it'd be brown antiqued brogues with raw selvedge, which is why I told matey above to fuck off. It's a great pairing of colours.
