The belt drive two speed moulton is great and real fun to ride, but it's an OTP bicycle in the end with standard part.
In other news, the Holdsworth I posted last years have a make-over, original;

It's an interesting point about how certain aspect are porn worthy in our eyes, for some the appearance of a lovely bicycles gee us with excitement, everything sync with each other, all the component colour matched, the paintjob a lovely shade of , etc.
But for some, a very ugly bike with odd number of spacers, misaligned rack, tiny MTB wheel, weird handlebar set-up (like the butterfly bar) ugly nodder-friendly pannier etc. excited them because of what the bike can take you elsewhere that a track or even road bike can't.
To me, this is porn worthy;
Because it enable me to explore the world;

I agree... sort of. The bike you just posted there does do that. A try-hard matching Surly that only fits the rider by force doesn't. In fact if anything it falls more into your first category than the later.
This was one of my favourates for painting a dream:
...there's just something about the picture that just does it for me.

(altho with all due respect a Surly is not a Co-motion)

Which is he? Your mate or a dumbass!!!?????? (does anyone else hate the trend for using the word 'mate' to mean, essentially, 'arsehole'? In my experience, it makes my - already painfully stilted - conversations with - and let's not beat about the bush here - working class people even more jolly confusing than they need be).

STI style shifter/levers don't work on those handlebars. I'm not a fan of the build in general either, if I'm honest. Could be done much better.

You mean aesthetically? What would you put in their place?
-
• #43096
I mean ergonomically. I've ridden a bike with a very similar setup, and it didn't feel comfortable to me. Maybe if they were positioned more towards the curve, they might work better. I don't think they were ever really designed to work in conjunction.
