Tournament Organisation!

OK big meeting lots of stuff discussed and to do!

First of all Mr Taxi man, is it possible to print out some updated posters ASAP to distribute to some of the local bike shops and other businesses. RV will take one to Billys to try and get some prizes together.. Also can you provide an update on any of the sponsorship deals you have come up with??

Court maintenance – This Sunday we will have a go at the court including:

• More Electricity - Angelo, need to drill hole in wall
• Fix nets - Luca, need bungees and more netting
• Clean up screws and nails - Josh, Sunday
• Paint 'D's – bogey will get floor paint from screwfix
• Centre dot – josh
• Tap out discs – Harvey
• Fix corners and safety – Jamie
• Behind the net wall is caving in – Jamie
• Tidy cables around court - Jamie
• Referee chair - Will

Around the court – needs to be done Thursday before tournament latest

• Move car - RV will call to see if we can move it
• Pallet wall and move stuff (??) Thursday before tourn
• Bins – recycling and rubbish - Hayden will find bins

Tournament Format and scoring - Bogey, Hayden, Josh and Luca need to meet soon to sort out and assign jobs- Guys when is good for you?

• Format: Random Circle split in half Sat then 16 single elim. on Sun
• Select the circle, schedule games, print and distribute - TBD
• Spreadsheet for scoring and brackets - TBD
• Recording scores - ALL in shifts during the day
• Scoring and stats recording/organizing seeding/top 16 - TBD
• Collect cash - josh and bogey at registration in exch for disclaimer
• Scoreboard and timer - hayden

Tournament Reffing - Greg/Jamie/Lee/Josh (Bogey can you please send them all a copy of the rules. I will send you gregs email to the tournament gmail.

Tournament Stuff

• Trophy – Harvey will call eggpie – josh will pickup Monday.
• Prizes – Mattpower.???On-one.. RV will go to billys with poster
• Power please do new poster for billys and other shops.
• T-shirts. Rv will sell – 12.50.
• Rv will set up his own shop
• Greg will debrief players before tournament starts
• Greg will be in charge of getting teams on deck for next game, will get nice ladies to summon the beasts.
• Harvey is putting together lucky bags. bogey and josh will hand out at reg.
• Lee will talk to Ric regarding bicycle ambulance on sat/sun. Might be possible to sell tubes and parts without the van there.

Accommodation for guests

• We will borrow Sofas and mattresses from rollergirls after Saturday eve.
• Tea and coffee all day - RV will get urn and need to test??
• Big map with toilets, parking, food - bogey
• Bogey will check parking lots dfs.
• No food
• Water bottles – Johnny
• Lee coud have people to stay at his if need.
• Sounds like all guests are under control
• Angelo will dosecurity friday and Saturday nights
• Tables – RV
• Toilets - RV will talk to Will to see if he can get a portaloo. we will have a map of places to wee and ask nearby if its ok to use loos.

Le Party

• Greg is looking at beer keg prices. Is there any opposition to selling beer on the premises??
• Saturday night - sounds like people will prob. play polo until late.. would be good to have music and booze.(George to play records?) Also the option of mr.scruff and talk of the town! we can suggest it to those who are interested
• Harvey will call the Junction to check on Guest list numbers for the scruff.

Woo hoo and oh yeah we will have to learn how to play proper polo in there somewhere.
