I haven't tried them myself but Velo polished rims look like they would make a good match http://www.tokyofixedgear.com/shopexd.asp?id=2466

Yeah those Velo Orange rims look good. Thinking of classic style was what attracted me to the H+Son TB14s. They look old yet somehow modern too...
So I just gotta decide exactly which rim and whether it should be silver or black anodised.

If I were you I would pick up something old, like MA2 or Wolber Super Champion, that have that proper thin boxy square section. The VO ones look very thick, and Open Pros are thick and taper.
I picked up a new super champion at LMNH jumble for £5 last week.

How many holes?
I don't think deep v's are a good choice, however, if they are *very *low spoke count (like shamal's) then it could work.
Skully's jumble idea is a good one. Another cheap idea is Open Sports. If silver go VO, if black, BLB can order some of the lower profile Velocities or go TFG for the Hsons when they come... although something tells me they'll be a while and then sell out immediately.
Just bought this Gazelle from Maryann with Shimano 600 Tricolor groupset and I love it. The thing is the hubs are great but the rims are not matching front to back and both have seen much better days.
What rims should I choose to get the hubs rebuilt with? Should I go with something classic like Mavic Open Pros (silver or black CD finish) or even the new H+Son TB14 when it comes out, or should I go with something aero like Velocity Deep Vs in silver, which would look a bit like Campy Shamals (which are beautiful wheels).
Suggestions wanted. I'm gonna be sticking with tan sidewall tyres if that helps, and adding STI shifters for some more modern convenience.
