been overtaken by it many times at HH. -

Seen it whizzing round Regent's Park every now and again too. If I could justify another steed in the stable, I would.

Get in there Joe, these are awesome to ride, trust me!
Also £200 is a about £50 below what I think the OP should really be asking, so it's definitely a bargain.

gazumped- who got this??
-
• #21
I just got this email from him:
" It seems I underpriced it by a long way though, so if he were able to offer more toward £250 and my first dibber drops out, then it's a possibility."
Isn't this against the forum rules?

Ivandterrible a similar thing on arguably a larger scale: http://www.lfgss.com/thread47443.html

Nice frame, wrong decals. Not really a great sale tactic, but I'd say let the guy have a few bob more if there's loads of interest. Should have said 'offers please, start at £200'. Which I think isn't against the rules.

I think £200 is about right for a repainted Orrell with Steve Goff decals... Has this gone? I had second dibs but didn't get a PM, DO I NEED TO GET MY BIG BASHING STICK OUT?

I bought it for £350, soz
To the best of my knowledge, this frame was made by Neil Orrell in the 80's from 531c tubing. The previous owner said he had it resprayed by Steve Goff a few years ago. I've heard that a phone call to Neil Orrell (who is still making frames) with the serial number could reveal its history, although I haven't contacted him yet myself.
Quite light, and surprisingly stiff for a steel frame of this size, it's been one of my favourites to ride.
It's been used mostly on the track, never crashed. I've used it on the road to and from Herne Hill with a clamp on brake, although due to the tight clearances the front wheel can brush the frame if you slam the brake on. The paint is acceptable, just a few scrapes which I've photographed. I'd like £200, although open to offers.
Top tube: 57cm c-c.
Seat tube: 57cm c-c.
Seatpost: 27.0
531c tubing. Not drilled for brakes.
Includes Stronglight headset and Shimano bottom bracket.
Dibs to be followed by a PM please.
