Not with the right care, mine hasnt smelt in years ;)

And although I doubt the guy with the facial scarfication did it to "appericate himself in the mirror" too, I just know some people do feel more complete when they do certain modifications to themselves. It's hard to explain. :)
But eh, different strokes to different folks!
