Digital photography

How come the non-digital thread is full of images and the non-film thread is full of geeky tech talk?

Here's some street photography I did recently.
Lumix digital compact, nothing fancy. All shot in monochrome mode and just a bit of contrast pumped in in LR.

because most people who use digital are just getting on making images for either work or pleasure instead of getting wrapped up in some romantic archaic process and fetishising over the equipment to the extent that the means of production is more important than the message.
the resultant artwork is viewed at 72dpi on a 6bit laptop screen.

just sayin like.
