1. Get an old chain ring and cut off the tabs that usually hold the chain ring to the cranks arm spider. These tabs make excellent spacers. No nice work, doesn't look great but it works well.

    2. Just cut 4 to 5 mm from the double chainring bolts and nuts.

    3. Buy the designated spacers. These are used with several triple cranks sets, CX crank sets, etc.
