Is no-one going to state the obvious, that the Cinelli above might be nicked? Well undervalued, and he states it was his just 'not getting enough use', yet he thinks it has about 4 cogs on the back? Sounds pretty suspect, no?
slight bend in one of the gear cogs due to chain coming off in training but easily fixable
that make its sound more stolen to me, more like bend in cog from where i broke the lock off,

Nipped into my LBS today to find they have some rather nice second hand stuff for sale such as:
Peugeot 58cm made from Reynolds 531 Professional. It has Dura Ace cranks/mechs with simplex shifters. Cinelli stem and bars with a rolls saddle. The brakes are Modolo professionals I believe.
The pedals/clips and seat post are campag (probably record judging by the quality of the rest of stuff on it). The wheels are mavic hubs on GP-4 rims with Vittoria tubs.
It also comes with a second set of wheels, again mavic hubs but this time laced to cx-18's also with Vittoria tubs. It comes 5 spare Vittoria tubs all unused with 2 pot glue.
It seems to be in excellent condition, apparently their selling in on behalf of an old guy who used for for TT. By the looks of it he stripped and cleaned it after every use, the photo doesn't really do it justice.
I'd have bought it myself but it's too small for me, they're asking £550 for it.They also have a '98 Klein Mantra for £650, it appeared to have a mix of xt/xtr stuff on it. Looked pretty much new to me, never been ridden off road apparently.
I'll vouch for the guys who run the shop (Chris and Nick) as I used to work with them in another bike shop, they left to open their own shop. They're very nice chaps and I'm sure they'd be open to reasonable offers and sorting out the postage (the shop is in Swansea).
Their contact details are on their website: thebikehub.co.uk -

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=135989Hmmm, bit of a Heath Robinson job on the front brake cable routing!!! Because the cantilever brakes are mounted 'aero' style behind the fork blades, the cable rubs on the underside of the fork crown and then transmits a lateral loading on the cantilever which increases the more the brake is applied. Interesting! Nice bike otherwise.
yeah, same goes for many bikes on ebay. what you gonna do about it?
(not supporting bike theft)
not really a steal. could go to pick it up and find its a pile of wank. its only some old mixed match campag on a asian cinelli frame anyhow.
