price?
-
• #3
Haha, good question.
Well just had 250£ costs on it, (got it back from the shop 14/01/2011).
So, around 420£, ill be in London soon, so might be able to take it with me -

Any chance you can put the old wheels, saddle, cable, shifters and bar tape back and I'll give you £170 for it?
prays to the gods of logic
-
• #5
Lol, ill think about it.
But idd rather sell it as one piece.
But i could put in the original pieces -
• #6
Think i might have made a mistake on the currency, it just had little less than 300£ costs
Willing to drop price to 380£ for the bike as it is, or with clickpedals.

-
• #9

-
• #10
Woudn't that be illegal :D
-
• #11
Woudn't that be illegal :D
Possibly, but postage costs would probably be prohibitive
-
• #12
hahaha
-
• #13
Adjusted title for future misreads :D
-
• #14
Illegal? Maybe but it would be very expensive as a very large box would be needed for the said EM is now on the large size!.....a little bump for your troubles.
-
• #15
Free bump! Could you tell us what model and type of tubing it is?
-
• #16
I'll post it tomorrow after my exam :-)
-
• #17
So not sure on what the model is, but i found a letter G with some numers on the buttom.
Just no idea what they mean.
The tubing is defenitly steel, did a little test with a magnet, since alloy isn't attracted by steel :-).
But about the frame, i measured it again, from center of the bracket to where the seatpost starts, and it's 63 cm.
Hope this is the correct framesize :-) -

Price drop 350£

• #19
Throw up more specs pal. Nice paint job, bike looks really nice.
-
• #20
Any idea what model it is? Certainly not pre a 90s frame - not a Corsa Extra, Strada, MX Leader etc, and definitely not aluminium? My admittedly non-exhaustive knowledge of Merckx frames runs out at this point. Anyone else know?
-
• #21
Right, answering my own question almost immediately after asking it... This seems to be a Merckx Arcobaleno. Not one I'd ever heard of before I have to say. See http://prollyisnotprobably.com/2010/02/01/mxl_german_catalog_90s.php for a catalogue scan. Columbus Neuron steel apparently, though I'm not certain where that fits in the hierarchy of good to not-quite as good. Does it have the seatpost bolt integrated into the toptube?
-
• #22
Yes it does xdamr
-
• #23
i'll call the Merckx center tomorrow and ask
-
