Middlesbrough?

Hi! Recently moved to Middlesbrough/Teesside and already seen at least two fixie riders about! Is there much of a 'scene' or rides in the area?

From what I've heard/seen on the forum theres quite a few lads that ride fixed in the area. You in Stockton? From speaking with Bingo, the guy that owns http://mischiefskatestore.com/__store/ he seems to know a fair few lads that ride in the area so might be worth poppin in there for a chat.

I used to live in Redcar. Me and my flatemate were the only 2 I ever saw riding fixed for the entire year I was there (2007-2008).

Seen two guys recently, one had a red fixe with straight bars, and the other had a smaller Dark blue? coloured fixie!

I live a few miles from Boro and I ride a fixed/single speed, just easier with all the traffic on Marton Road. My mate has also got a fixed.

i live in stockton, and ride through to middlesbrough most days. although im not using my bike in its fixie state and using its freewheel, im on a Charge plug freestyler.

oh and also i bear bad news about Bingo at mischief skate store if you wee going to go there to ask about fixie owners, im afraid he passed away earlier this year. such a great bloke.
