GB haven't gotten this far for a few years but have been steadily building through the season and despite only qualifying through the wild-card system (not coming top of their division but having a decent record and winning a pre-lim of the knockouts) they're looking strong.

    A blitz is when a defender is basically sent to pressurise the quarterback. Usually you have three things that a defender can do: man coverage (as simple as it sounds, covering your opposite guy), zone coverage (covering an area of the field and any men who enter into it) or blitz (push hard to either hurry the other team into a decision or to tackle them at or behind the gainline). Depending on the situation the defence as a team will be doing one, or a combination of those things.

    If you have a choice, the BBC coverage will probably be more open to explaining stuff to the casual viewer.
