For Sale: Sidi leather cycling shoes size 43

Clearing out the spare room has turned up my SIDI leather cycling shoes from the early 80's.

These really are "old School "now :-(

These were only ever used on the track and have never been wet, lovely soft uppers and stiff sole with wooden insole ( no carbon fiber here ! )

Titanium and plastic shoeplate suitable for standard quill pedals clips and straps

They are marked size 43 on the sole but a neat fit 8 1/2 would be about right.

In great condition as you can see from the pictures.

I am going to throw in a pair of Campagnolo gran sport Quill road pedals, christophe clips and straps to get you started. ( Pictures may follow on request )

apart from the soles these look to be in amazing condition.
at first i thought they were a modern product, something similar to the tweed run shoes.

And they're wood. So they just need a bit of creosote or Cuprinol and they'll be good as new ;)

I think they have leather soles....i think i can see the leather symbol on the sole.

Oh man, just wet myself ! I used to race in these shoes in the 80's, really loved them, pity they are to small.

You are correct, they have what looks like a wooden insole and a leather outer sole.

I think the stripes on the sole are tape I stuck on to stop the leather getting scraped , it's a long time ago !
