Paddy's Day Massacre is a whole weekend event. Things kick off with an alleycat on Friday night at 20:00 with registrations for the whole event before hand. After registering you get your t-shirt and spokecard and a printed timetable with maps for the whole weekend. The race ends at the Lower Deck Pub where we are all going for drinks after to get to know each other a bit better.
The polo kicks off at 11:00 the next morning in Eamon Ceannt Park http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...03227&t=h&z=19, please have your team registered by 10:00. The tournament will go on all day till it gets dark. We'll have a few games and throw-ins going on beside the polo court and there will be a spectator area where you can see everything and keep your bike/stuff safe. Later that night there will be the Goldsprints and beers and you'll be able to bring your bikes indoors.
On Sunday out at St. Annes Park (you can bring your bikes on the train out to here) there will be a trick competition and games like longest skid, sprints, most backward circles, trackstand competition, trackstand twister, foot down, grass track racing, mini track racing as well as prizes given out for everything at the end courtesy of some of our local bike shops and bike courier companies.
Its €15 to enter all events including the polo tournament and you also get a Massacre 2011 t-shirt and spoke card. Alternatively you can just enter the polo tournament for €5 each (€15 per team)
To register just email me at alex 4 v @ gmail . com and say if its the whole weekend event or just the polo you want to enter (just so we have an idea how many are coming this year) and just pay in cash when you arrive.
