You are correct, they have what looks like a wooden insole and a leather outer sole.
I think the stripes on the sole are tape I stuck on to stop the leather getting scraped , it's a long time ago !

I miscalculated the postage when I put the ad up last night, the box is 1.6kg and will be £ 6.67 posted in the UK .
