I loved commuting with tt bars (commuting bike). Once the weather gets a little better/I get a little fitter they'll be going back on, I think...

6pt, im sure i have seen you a couple of times in the last few months at the junction of denmark hill/coldharbour lane?
or at least someone with a very similar bike.

There are probably a few similar bikes in the area due to location of the shop (not many with stupid handlebars and a bsnyc headbadge tho). But I'm buzzing around the area a lot, so it's probably me.

Had the GT on a spin around brighton, didn't rate some of the braklessness, but the fit is perfect. Sunday I'm going on a proper ride so will find out better. Totally chuffed!

Cheers, I want to put wound up forks on, but they are premo pricey. The Cougar forks are fucking dope, but I ain't drilling them, and I really could do with having the option of running a brake where I'm based in Brighton. Might have to settle for some straight as possible aluminium boys. Got some Basso pursuit bars im gonna try out as well, but I really enjoyed riding with the risers.
Yeah, and thats a really good price but gonna hold out for a while see if one of these comes up...

most of my commute is on B-roads and country lanes, at a time of day when there are barely any cars.

Tenderloin, obvious option, but what about those Dia Compe clamp-on brakes?

Just about to pick up my ebay won, Dave Russell track frame. Pics in a bit.
Cheers :) - I am running 44:15 fixed, no plan at the moment to race it. It has replaced my Singlespeed Tricross, which I bought as a commuter but really fell for. So its my daily work horse, weekend ride with the gf, basically anything that isn't mtb'ing. I have now ridden about 200 miles, about 1/3 of that light offload - absolutely lovely!
