Tom, I have an old 20gb iPod that's sitting around.It's yours if you want it? - no cash required.
It'll come with a FireWire cable and it currently has a camo Gelaskin on it so the actual unit should be in mint condition.
EDIT I've just plugged it in and the thing is dead as a doornail. Sorry dude.
