Yes, they are thief proof and looks well nice if you wear it across your shoulder :)

How much does the lock set actually weigh?

4 kilos (serious!) At 100cm, it goes through my front and rear wheel and a small sign post with no probs hence you might not even need a 2nd lock. Kinda gives you the peace of mind your bike is safe while you are away :)

Dang! doing 20 miles a day with that'd be interesting, will need to ponder this one though. :)

You can always leave the lock at the U loop if you commute to the same location every day :)
